  Hello Families, We had a great week in Grade 2! Calgary Zoo Field Trip *I can discuss and compare the life cycles of various plants and animals.  *I can Identify similarities between offspring and their parents.  Thank you so much to our volunteers who joined us on this field trip. We had a blast! Students were excited to explore dinosaur centers and learn about the prehistoric park. Check out some of our zoo adventures below. Science (Matter) *I can c ompare the properties of materials to determine what material is best for a specific purpose. Thank you to our parent engineers Graham and Adrienne for teaching students about structural design concepts. Students used spaghetti noodles, pood noodles, tape, and dental floss to create their designs/drafts of towers.
